To begin with, there is no index. An inexcusable oversight, in my opinion. Next there are the "detailed" maps of the parks. None of these has topography, so if you look at the Grand Canyon, you are not able to tell where the Phanto| |Almost two hundred areas west of the Mississippi are covered in an updated third edition providing details on regional history, points of interest, and activities. Small line maps and clear illustrations lend to a fine coverage. -- Midwest Book |
