Hyson|I'm afraid this book gives little insight into the rigours of a long stagecoach journey (roughly a month for 24 hours a day, having only two 45 min breaks every 24 hours). the style is very much that of a travelogue, extolling the wonders of the passing scenery. A much better book, in my opinion, is "The Butterfield Mail" by Walter L.
